What is HoodLinkd
HoodLinkd is a not so brand-new anymore web-based app that connects customers with businesses in a specified area. It’s about ‘local is lekker’ via a funky, comprehensive, and easy-to-use platform – without any limits with regards to type or size of business.
The idea for HoodLinkd grew out of a passion to support small and medium-sized local businesses by offering them a convenient and affordable platform to connect with their target market. Their goal is to assist businesses in improving their online presence, maximising their local customer base, and strengthening their neighbourhood’s economy.
HoodLinkd has been designed to offer maximum convenience for users. True to the slogan ‘Your hood in one app’, the team features an electronic business directory (Bye Bye Yellow Pages), an event calendar, and weekly updated specials/deals by local businesses.
Keep an eye on their Deals section. It’s a game-changer for everyone looking to save while exploring the city. Users simply filter by industry or keyword and get instant access to promotions offered by local businesses.
Whereas users can register for free, businesses can choose between different packages (ranging from free to premium versions). To download the app, simply go to www.hoodlinkd.com on your mobile device and follow the pop-up instructions.
