The details
Archery Adventures in the Howberry Hills of Plettenberg Bay teaches the art of archery to beginners and those with little experience in their Adventure Tour. The site can be found in the hills overlooking the Bitou River valley, with horses, farm animals and birdlife living in the property.
The Adventure Tour begins with an introduction and basic hands-on instructions lasting 20 to 30 minutes. The experienced instructor then takes guests for a hike through the indigenous forest to a nearby natural ravine where they’ll find a 3D Archery Trail. Tours can be booked in three different time slots, morning, midday and evening and breakfast, lunch and dinner are available on request. The tour includes equipment, targets and a certificate upon completion.
Tours last approximately two hours and are recommended for those 8 years and older. Archer’s Meals on the Deck are prepared by the team’s Austrian chef and are available to be pre-booked.
All targets used by Archery Adventures are hand-made and the organisation does not condone the shooting of live animals.
