The details
Artist and sculptor Dylan Lewis' Sculpture Garden houses over 60 works which serve as markers of the growth and change that has occurred during a 25-year career.
Lewis' sculptures are inspired by the human form, big cats and shamanic figures and include lifelike recreations as well as abstract pieces. The garden has mainly indigenous species, with a focus on fynbos.
While the buchus and Ericas are in flower during July and September, the garden has been planted in a way that every season has a new display of plant life. A large selection of Ericas, particularly unusual varieties such as Erica Verticillata, extinct in the wild, were sourced from Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
