On Friday 21 July 2023 South African music legend, Vernon Castle headlines the jazz at the popular indoor food market.
Castle has nearly 50 years of performance experience and draws inspiration from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Nat King Cole, Al Jarreau and George Benson. Castle has developed his own unique style and sound and has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry in Cape Town and South Africa.
South African Cabaret and Jazz musician, Leslie Kleinsmith, performs on Friday 11 August 2023. After many years in the Jazz industry, Kleinsmith deservedly earned the title of Grand Performer. Through the years, he has learnt to master many different genres of music including Pop, R&B, Rock, Funk, Ballads and (Big Band) Jazz.
The Guitar Cartel takes the stage on Friday,18 August 2023. They are a group of guitarists that became brothers when they got together to share and celebrate each other’s unique style of Guitar playing from Jazz, R&B, Soul to African sounds. The Guitar Cartel features the phenomenal Keanu Harker, Julius May and band leader, Cameron Ward.
