Willowbridge Shopping Centre is hosting a fun Galaxy Kitchen holiday programme where kids can learn how to craft their own bubble tea and space-inspired cookies. These hourly sessions are fully guided, Halaal-friendly, and run daily from 15 to 26 June. The event is open to children aged 3 to 12 years. Here’s what kids can keep an eye out for at the event:
Let the little ones learn how to decorate astro-inspired cookies
Young explorers will also be treated to delicious cookies baked and guided by one of Cape Town’s most popular bakeries to accompany their creations with Tessa’s Bakery. The little astronauts will learn how to create their edible Nebula design using royal icing and top the design off with stardust and rice paper astronauts on their own. The workshop is Halaal-friendly.
Tessa’s Bakery has been creating mouth-watering baked goods for 25 years and began offering her services to the public in 2012, wowing with moreish cakes, cookies, and so much more. The bakery has an excellent and successful branch at Willowbridge Shopping Centre.
Assemble your own intergalactic bubble tea
Annie & Co, a division of Tessa’s Bakery, is taking over the PNP Court for a seriously fun workshop for kids on how to assemble your own Intergalactic Bubble Tea using a variety of Teas and Boba. Kids will top the finished tea off with a Galaxy Glitter candyfloss bomb for an extra playful touch.
Annie & Co creates bubble tea-making kits, crafting kits, and numerous other creative, hands-on box kits for kids and busy parents. From cake toppers to arts, from themed party ingredients to handy instructions, the team has you covered.
