Wine lovers, the Michelangelo Wine Tasting Experience taking place at Arabella Hotel, Golf & Spa is a unique experience not to be missed. The event runs on 6 and 7 October 2023 and leads up to the Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards, the biggest wine and spirits competition in Africa, that takes place later this year.
What’s on at Michelangelo Wine Tasting Experience?
Visitors can look forward to meeting winemakers and tasting wines and spirits from a comprehensive selection of South African premium wine brands including the likes of Bon Courage, Babylonstoren Wines, Niel Joubert Wines, Vondeling, and many more.
These renowned cellars and distilleries unveil their best produce and extended ranges of delightful wines and spirits. Over 100 wines, spirits, MCC, and other sublime creations are available for tasting and sales.
Mynard Slabbert, co-owner of the Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards explains, ‘The tasting events bring the wines, winemakers and producers to Johannesburg and Durban, giving local wine lovers, sommeliers, restaurateurs, and merchants an opportunity to engage with them, and sample their award-winning products first-hand.’
The Michelangelo International Wine & Spirits Awards receives more entries than any other awards programme in the sector and entries are judged by panels of wine experts from five different continents in an impartial blind tasting.
